Welcome, and thank you for visiting my website. If my approach resonates, I would be delighted to connect.
My name is Quazi, and my heart is in the nonprofit world. Building programs, simple systems, and routines that make busy days lighter is work that brings joy, every smile counts. Happiness grows when it’s shared. That belief took shape with BASICS, where service as President helped a volunteer effort reach national recognition. Since then, community work has continued through organizations such as Columbia College and Friends of Granville Island, guided by the conviction that bringing people together matters.
Early on, one lesson stood out: real community impact requires a steady back office. Clean books and clear routines allow frontline teams to do their best work. That insight created a deeper focus on finance and administration, supported by four guiding words: learn, research, develop, implement.
A strong foundation was built in AP and AR, processing large volumes of invoices, keeping vendors informed, and resolving issues before they grew. Experience at Paladin Technologies and Imperial Distributors Canada added speed with accuracy, calm communication under deadlines, and the discipline of tight reconciliations. Those same habits carried into community spaces as well: coordinating programs and events, documenting processes clearly, and supporting teams so missions could keep moving.Currently serving as Association Manager at CMHA Saskatoon, a community-based charity delivering tailored, evidence-informed mental health supports, responsibilities include leading the planning, delivery, and evaluation of programs and services. Engagement with partners, clients, funders, and stakeholders ensures strong communication and collaboration. At the same time, the quiet essentials are cared for: overseeing a diverse mix of professional, peer-led, and administrative staff; managing program and operational budgets; handling annual planning; and monitoring performance. Compliance, risk management, and governance reporting are maintained, while facilities, safety, and IT systems receive ongoing attention. The work is rooted in person-centred, recovery-oriented, and trauma-informed approaches, always aligned with CMHA’s mission and community needs.
On the technical side, proficiency includes Microsoft Dynamics 365 (F&O and Business Central), QuickBooks, Sage 50, Excel, Google Sheets, and common CRM and PDF workflows. Templates and visuals are created when processes need clarity, with the understanding that tools matter most when supporting people and systems. Continuous learning and teamwork remain central values. Solo projects have their place, but the greatest satisfaction comes from collaborating, exchanging ideas, and building steady, supportive rhythms together. Open to opportunities in accounting, administration, and management, especially where structure supports care and numbers serve people.
